Landenberger One Design has developed two Optimist sails over the last years. We went for a radial and a crosscut design, the two sails cover the complete range of weather conditions from light wind lake races up to windy conditions with choppy water.

LS RAD#7
 The radial design has the draft more forward in the sail, the sail is fuller in the front and has a flat exit.
This combination gives you the power to go through the chop and be able to depower and open the leech easy.
Compared to our CrossCut design you might feel that this sails handles better in strong wind with waves.
Too keep the balance in the boat this sails need more mast rake than our CC design.

LS CC#4
 The crosscut design has the draft a bit further back in the sail, the result is a leech that stands up easy to give you power in light wind.
We tried to keep shape and twist in balance what makes the sail deepower in the upper wind ranges to get rid off overpressure to keep the boat flat.
The result is a perfect lake racing sail with the option to handle some of the big stuff as well!
There is flatter model for our young and light sailors as well, ask for it!

Both sails are delivered incl. sailnumbers, measurement, label, battens, tale tells and a sailbag.
